How
do we get our funding?
YCS is a non-profit, charitable organization that relies on donations,
memberships, project funding, sales and frequent fundraising events.
YCS is a registered charity and can issue Canadian tax receipts. See the third column on this page for information on American donations.
If you live in the Whitehorse area please consider donating your bottle refunds to YCS.
YCS has an account at Raven Recycling to accept donations for bottle refunds on YCS's behalf.
Just mention to the cashier (before the refund is punched into the cash register) that you would like to donate your refund to YCS and they'll do it.

American Donors
Tides Canada is an organization who have set themselves up with charitable status in the US. Tides Canada is a national foundation with an unique focus: providing charitable giving services to donors interested in values-led philanthropy in the areas of environmental sustainability and progressive social change.
Tides Canada is able to issue tax receipts in American dollars to American donors.
