WHEN
Times and Schedule: July 2nd – August 23rd, 2008 Every Day (yes, including weekends and public holidays) 10 am to 12 pm, and again from 2 pm to 4 pm. WEATHER Phone (668-5678) if it looks like it is going to be inclement. Walks may be cancelled if weather conditions are going to be miserable or if conditions are unsafe. Be prepared for all weather and trail conditions with good footwear, rain and wind outerwear! Bring water and a bag lunch if the hike is longer. Don't forget sunscreen, a hat and bug dope.

WHAT See this historic site come to life! Gold Rush history, geomorphology and ice-age formations, plants and plant uses, wildlife, First Nation history, history of the early explorers and the Canyon City archaeological research project. WHERE Meet at the Robert Lowe suspension bridge beneath the Miles Canyon parking lot.
