Report on the Proposed Forest Ecosystem Network (FEN) for the La Biche River Watershed

The Labiche River valley is one of the most ecologically significant areas of the Yukon. A Canadian Environmental Assessment Act screening report requires "a protected area within the La Biche valley that is representative of all landscapes present."

The Yukon Bird Club has posted the 1999 report that has suggested final boundaries and recommendations for the La Biche River Forest Ecosystem Network. Click here to go directly to the 2.6 MB pdf file.
